It’s your birthday! To you it may be a sad day or maybe a happy one. If by chance you’ve arrived at one of those landmark birthdays, 21, 30, 40, 50 etc. and someone has been nice enough to throw you a party, it’s always nice to make a small little speech or toast.
A good time to make your speech or toast is when the cake is brought out. After everyone has sung happy birthday, you should make your way to saying a few words that show your appreciation and love for the people around you.
